Tudor Two Tone Quartered Dial
Description:
A very nice Tudor from the 1930’s. The watch has a very nice two tones quartered dial. The watch is housing a very nicely finished manual wind Damas movement. The watch case is gold plated and has quite a lot of wear on the caseback. The regulator on the balance bridge I think has been replaced with a straight one as the regulator needs to be pushed quite far to get an accurate time although the hairspring looks fine and the watch has great amplitude. The watch dial has quite a few scratches but is still crisp. The caseback has an engraving and has a hinge. The watch also has hinged lugs allowing the watch to fit comfortable on the wrist. The watch is fitted with a used lizard leather strap.
Dial:
The dial is silver in color in a quartered pattern. The Hour, Minute and Seconds hands are blued. The hour markers are black painted hour numerals. The seconds are a subdial at the 6 o’clock position. There is a minute track around the circumference of the dial.
