Omega Geneve Chronostop Cal 865
Description:
Stuck between a watch and a chronograph lies this, the Omega Chronostop. Used to measure time within 60 seconds its a very odd but unique piece. The watch is housing the Omega Cal 865 movement. The center seconds is activated by a press of the top pusher. Once you need to stop the seconds to read how much time has passed, you press it again but have to hold the pusher down. Once released the seconds reset. The case has been refinished but not by us. The put a brush finish on top but over polished underneath the watch. The glass and crown are both original. The dial is absolutely immaculate with aged lume. We have fitted the watch is a brand new Hirsch strap. This is an incredible good looking watch and unique in its appearance.
Dial:
The dial is matte white in color and is almost a reverse pie pan is shape, almost like a plate. The hour markers are silver colored inserts. The Hour and Minute hands are matte black in color and both have luminous compound. The Center Seconds are painted orange. There is a minute track around the circumference of the dial and a checkered seconds track around the dial.
