Description:
An Omega Seamaster Cosmic unlike any other. This very unique looking Cosmic shows it wasn’t a safe queen. Bought from the original owner, he worked at SAA, South African Airways, and spent most of his time under the South African sun. He said that ever time the dial started to age and discolor as the original color was a brilliant blue, now takes on a grey and champagne explosive tone. What is also special about this watch is the unique hour numeral style, very angular. The watch is in fair condition for it age with scratches, scuffs and dings. The bracelet, glass and crown are all original Omega. So a truly unique piece and for someone who enjoys a watch showing its age and history, this is a fantastic piece.
Dial:
The dial is heavily aged to a grey champagne tone. The 12, 6 & 9 hour markers are applied inserts and the rest of the hour markers are painted numerals. There is a minute and seconds track painted around the circumference of the dial. The Hour, Minute and Seconds hands are silver in color. There is a date window at 3 o’clock.
