Girard Perregaux Quartz Chronometer
Description:
An all original 70’s Girard Perregaux Quartz Chronometer. The watch is very unique in style in an all stainless steel case and bracelet with black sides around the edges. The movement is very similar to Omegas vintage quarts movement where you pull out the crown one position to quick change the hour and pull once more to change the minutes. The watch is in pretty good condition for its age with light marks and scuffs. An added bonus is the original stainless steel bracelet that comes with the watch. The dial is unlike anything I’ve seen before with a grey powder texture but glitters as you move it around in the light. The watch used to be owned by a retailer for Girard Perregaux back in the day here in South Africa. If you’re a fan of vintage Girard Perregaux this is definitely a watch you should consider.
Dial:
The dial is matte grey in color with small bits catching the light, like glitter. The Hour, Minute and Seconds hands are silver in color. The hour markers and GP logo are silver applied markers. There is a date window at the 3 o’clock position.
