Rolex Rolco Two Tone Watch

Description:

An extremely scarce Rolex Rolex watch that if from the 1930’s. The watch is  complimented with a beautiful two tone quartered dial and blued hands. The watch was sold in Kenya and has the name of the jewelers on the dial, Dobbies LTD, Nairobi. The case style is hexagonal in shape and is coated in rolled gold. The case is stamped R.W.C LTD on the back of the case and Rolex on the inside of the case back. The case has a fair amount of wear and scratches but that is to be expected. The watch has fixed lugs and is fitted with an old used blue and black nato strap. The watch is an incredible piece for any discerning Rolex collector.

Dial:

The dial is a two tone quartered dial with black painted arabic numerals for the hour markers. The Hour, Minute and Seconds hands are all blued. The seconds are a subdial at the 6 o’clock position. there is a minute track around the circumference of the dial. The dial has a lot of character with the spots scattered around the dial and with the different colored quarters changing in shade as you move around catching different angles of light.
