A stunning vintage Certina Chronolympic DS2 Chronograph Ref 8501 800. The watch is housing one of the most famous manual wind chronograph movements, The Valjoux 72.The watch is stunning with a blue and black color template with accents of a red orange which gives a burst of color. Upon receiving the watch, the case was completely over polished so we refinished the case as best as possible to bring the edges back, and it came out quite nicely, as the dial is near mint. The watch is currently fitted with a blue strap with some blue stitch, blending in with the watch, and we will include an extra blue leather strap. This is a stunning, large wearing, vintage chronograph with unique and funky colors, a great addition to any collection.

Dial:

The dial is grey in color with blue subdials. The hour markers are silver applied inserts with black strips. The Hour and Minute hands are silver in color, have a black strip and tritium. The Center chronograph hand is red orange in color. The Sub dial hands are all painted white. There is a minute and seconds track around the circumference of the dial printed in blue. There is a tachy meter scale around the circumference of the dial printed in white.
